This week, in accordance with the return of the flirtatious Felicia Hardy, aka the Black Cat, in AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #607, we're shining the spotlight on some of the fabulous females who populate Spidey's life.

MARY JANE #1
The big homecoming dance looms over the horizon for the students at Midtown High and it seems that nearly everyone has a date...everyone but Mary Jane Watson that is. While Liz pushes MJ to go with Harry Osborn, she can't help but think there's someone else out there for her. Then, with the dance just days away and after a harrowing rescue by a certain loveable webhead, our leading lady realizes exactly who she wants to go to the with. You'll have to read this issue to figure out who the lucky spid...uh, lad is.

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #31 (1963)
Witness the excitement, intrigue, and insanity as Peter Parker attends his first day at Empire State University! As if that weren't enough to stress out a college freshman, Peter has to deal with the meticulously-detailed criminal exploits of the Master Planner, Aunt May's failing health, and a certain blonde bombshell who's sure to turn his world upside down. That's right folks, this issue marks the first appearance of the one and only Gwen Stacy! It's the dawn of a new age in Spidey's life and he's rushing to meet it in the only way he knows how: with webshooters in hand and a quip on his tongue!

SPIDER-MAN: BLUE #1
Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale, the dynamic team responsible for DAREDEVIL: YELLOW and HULK: GRAY, weave a tale of love and loss starring your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, the incomparable Gwen Stacy, and the vivacious Mary Jane Watson. This story has it all: action, excitement, drama, Goblins, and beautiful women. Add a pinch of nostalgia and a bit of tragedy and you have a Spider-Man yarn worth its weight in gold.

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #204
It seems that the stories of the Black Cat's demise have been greatly exaggerated. Just when Spidey thought he'd seen the last of the feline femme fatale, he catches word on a police radio of her sudden reappearance and subsequent burglary attempt. A game of cat and mouse that spans the highest reaches of the Manhattan skyline follows. Spider-Man's going to need all of his extraordinary arachnid abilities operating at peak efficiency if he expects to catch a thief nearly as nimble as himself. Does Spidey have what it takes to stop the Black Cat's crime spree? Does he really even want to? Read on to find out!

SPIDER-GIRL #10
When a fight between Spider-Girl and Spyral, a villain from an alternate dimension, doesn't go quite according to plan, Mayday finds herself ripped from her own time thrust into the past where she meets her own father, a young Peter Parker, the sensational Spider-Man! Will this strange father/daughter team somehow manage to find the dimension-jumping Spyral and right the time stream or will Mayday be stuck in the past forever?
