Hey, how come Bobby's dad is all "don't worry, you're a mutant and we love you" when we all know he was very vocal about his dislike of Bobby's "not normal-ness"?IIRC, he did not waste a chance to remind Bobby that he was a failure as a son, and that he was not normal (as he should have been). It wasn't until some time later when we learned he did love his son and supported him against bigots (at least, worse bigots than he was).I hope we do see this in this comic, and that it was not changed (ignored, or not even researched) just for the sake of the story.Bobby is one of my favorite characters, and I would prefer his established history to be taken into account or not contradicted just because.Good work with the art. I love Bobby's face and pose when he is in the swimming pool.
