Face facts, folks: the maladjusted Merc With a Mouth's groovy, of course, but not exactly gregarious-in other words, he's better off by himself!

Nonetheless, DEADPOOL TEAM-UP editor Axel Alonso assures us that the new title kicks off on November 4 with a bounty of bangs when Hercules himself swings by and the fun only escalates in subsequent issues.

Witness please the following suggestions for Deadpool team-ups; we're not saying they'll ever come to pass, but who knows? With DEADPOOL TEAM-UP our motto's not only "The Sky's the Limit!" but also "How Low Can You Go?"!

Howard the Duck
Howard the Duck
C'mon! It's a match made in Marvel heaven! Howard's the fine feathered friend Wade never knew he needed. Think of the hijinks! Think of the belly laughs! Think of all the cigar smoke!

"What wouldn't go wrong?" asks party-pooper Alonso. "Wade would definitely hit on Howard's girl, Bev, and he'd probably have a thing or two to say about Howard's lack of pants, both of which would cause some friction. That said Wade would probably be the only guy on earth who loved the 'Howard the Duck' movie, so there might be some hope."

Texas Twister
Texas Twister
Admittedly, we can predict a bit of friction here. Though the bad guys wouldn't know up from down after a tag-team assault from the 'Pool and the Twister, we're pretty sure afterwards ol' TT would have to take Wade out back of the saloon for a little talk about Texas manners. Get along, lil' Deadpool! Yee-haww!

"I loves me some Texas Twister so don't be surprised if her turns up in an issue," Alonso notes. "I think these guys would get along great as long as they keep their conversations focused on muscle cars, wild wimmen and gun control, and steer clear of the Dallas Cowboys."

Mary Jane Watson
Mary Jane Watson
Sure, MJ's simply the hottest super model-actress around, but her experience at the side of swingin' super heroes cannot be denied. However, could she stand the constant barrage of wisecracks and not-so-thinly-veiled references to her "caboose"? Okay, maybe this wouldn't be the greatest team-up ever in the history of comic books...

"Wade falls hard for any vaguely attractive female who doesn't run screaming from him-and some who do," Alonso reminds us. "So Mary Jane's sweet disposition would almost certainly work against her. It would start with questions about underwear and devolve from there."

Dracula
Dracula
Now here's a Deadpool team-up, folks! Hot off his recent attempt at conquering England, the Lord of the Vampires' likely could use a strong shoulder to cry on-enter Wade Wilson. We see foggy cemeteries, clandestine meetings and much gloating and cackling over goblets of, well, some dark liquid. Do we smell a world-dominating duo here?

"Two words: unrequited love," says Alonso. "Wade would love Dracula. The hair! The cape! The accent! Dracula would not love Wade."

The Impossible Man
The Impossible Man
It's a team-up so wild we scarce give it utterance. The very thought of the playful Poppupian teamed with the Merc With a Mouth gives us the warm fuzzies as well as the heebie-jeebies. What could happen? Anything! What would they say? Anything! What would the world look like when they finished? Err...Axel?

"The Impossible Man bends reality," explains Alonso. "Wade doesn't acknowledge the laws of reality, so they'd kind of cancel each other out."

The Pet Avengers
The Pet Avengers
No human or alien existing can prove truly worthy to fight and fraternize alongside a character as deep and as deadly as Deadpool. Thus, the Pet Avengers. It's a hairy idea, sure, and one that might make you howl, but you cannot deny its potential or its power.

"There would be lots and lots of pooping," Alonso says. "And not the animals."

[quote@rdvmetaltoast a cant believe you wouldn't think of a deadpool/Bea Arthur team up![/quote] Yeah, Death makes Deadpool confront all of his fallen enemies, friends, lovers, and idols! It would give a lot of needed back story for the newer fans and satisfy the older fans too. That would be sweet.
