WOLVERINE
#10 (1988)

WOLVERINE #10 (1988) No man, woman or being could ever make Logan's blood boil as badly as Victor Creed. So when Wolverine and Sabretooth meet in a Madripoor saloon, their encounter results in the most ruthless and bloody bar fight this side of the Wild West! Iconic X-scribe Chris Claremont collaborates with John Buscema and Kent Williams to deliver yet another incredible look at one of the Marvel U's most bitter rivalries!

X-MEN #5
(1991)

X-MEN #5 (1991) John Byrne and Jim Lee are the men behind one of the most baffling and mentally exhausting battles Wolvie has ever endured. In X-MEN #5 (1991), the cruel and cold-blooded Omega Red hammers Wolverine so badly, he cries uncle. Can we hold the Russian serial killer solely accountable for it, or are there other evil forces at work? Most importantly, can the X-Men rescue their fallen comrade in time? Read this fast-paced issue to find out!

ROGUE #11

ROGUE #11 Saddled with daddy issues and adamantium fingernails, Lady Deathstrike's fury knows no bounds. If she messes with you, she messes with everything and everybody close by. Sadly, Rogue finds that fact out the hard way in ROGUE #11. The issue may be light on Wolverine, but Tony Bedard and Derec Aucoin still manage to deliver a one-two punch with a stirring script and invigorating art. With his surrogate little sister close to him, Wolvie's nurturing side emerges. Can you say "awwww"?

WOLVERINE:
ORIGINS #12

WOLVERINE: ORIGINS #12 Why settle for one villain when you can have two? Daken and Cyber double-team to take down Wolverine in WOLVERINE: ORIGINS #12, an issue by Daniel Way and Steve Dillon. Smarmy and ruthless in every way, you'll wish you could take on Daken and Cyber yourself. As an added bonus, Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D. make a special appearance!

WOLVERINE
#62 (2003)

WOLVERINE #62 (2003) From the Mexican desert to the mountainous terrain of Afghanistan, Jason Aaron and Ron Garney take us on Wolverine's globetrotting adventure to capture Mystique in WOLVERINE #62 (2003). Surprisingly humorous in parts, the issue takes a fascinating look at Wolvie's past and his once-civil attachment to the blue shape shifter. Her street smarts, elusiveness and mutant ability will leave you as anxious and perplexed as Wolverine is in this high-octane and unapologetic thriller.
