David Lapham said in the IM sketchbook something I liked very much. He said 'plenty of kung-fu'. I hope the main Iron Fist title is only taking a break. Swierczynski and Foreman' run is far awesome than Brubaker' and I'm very curious about up-coming stories...I don't feel this mini about the Immortal Weapons is really necessary ( I'd rather to see unusual teaming of Danny with one or two of them here and here in the main title ) but it could provide some greats moments and new aspects about the characters...Plus I'm glad to see Michael Lark and Timothy Green on the subject !I wish we'll see Danny facing more HYDRA, I'd just love to see a fight against a Dreadnought - I don't know if it is the right place to ask...

Iron Fist is my most consistently good book. While nearly all the books i read have gone through rough patches, Iron Fist has been quality from Brubaker's first run up to this point and it looks set to continue being top notch. If the next series of Iron Fist relies on sales for this mini i will buy 2 copies of each! It will be hugely disappointing if it doesn't continue. A real original in the Marvel line that everyone should at least try out.

Duuuude! you've been missin' out.Immortal Iron Fist was a phenomenal series. And in a way this is like the epilogue. You really should read the first two story arcs first though:The Last Iron Fist and The 7 Capital Cities of Heaven. Brubaker AND Fraction, and illustrated by very dark and impressionistic David Aja (he did the covers to this mini). But do yourself a favour: pick up these issues as they come out but read the trades first. In fact you'd be doing everyone a favour because I believe the next Iron Fist title may be dependent on the sales of this mini.
