I'm a fan of BP the character but I'm a Daredevil purist. I really don't like this Black Panther title garbage. Daredevil has been the one book that throughout its history has not been subjected to the gimmicky marvel crap used to sell more books. I have literally read every Daredevil issue from 1 - 511. I am seriously considering not reading the book while it has this Black Panther gimmick going on. Marvel needs to stay true to continuity. If you want to take Matt Murdock out of the DD costume, then fine. Give us some great storylines about his struggles after shadowland and include the sub-plots of Foggy and Dakota. Its totally cool to use BP in the storylines as a protector of Hells Kitchen, but don't take Murdock out of the book and re-title. Obviously DD is coming back, hence the Daredevil Reborn books that are coming out in a couple of months. Lets call this what it is. Another Marvel attempt to fleece its customers and get them to buy more titles. If the art is not up to par, I will not even consider buying the book.

Aloha,If you look at the very first bio of the Black Panther, you'll see that him knowing that Matt Murdock was Daredevil is listed.I'm a big fan of the Untold Tales of Spider-Man. The things that happened in between the stories we know about have limitless possibilities.I think Marvel is letting us know that there will continue to be a Daredevil Man without fear at some point down the road, so the numbers continue. This is like Rhodey taking over for Tony as Iron Man.Spidey rules

Seems pretty sneaky to me. They're hoping that regular DD buyers (as well as actual BP fans) will buy BP this way, because it's keeping the Daredevil comics numbering. Plus, DD fans will follow him into whatever new title he gets put into soon. But, honestly, I don't think any takes on BP has worked for me since Priest was kicked off the book. This take might be okay, but I can't stand the artwork so I won't be purchasing it.

Aloha,As an old time collector of Black Panther, I'm pretty excited about this new title. For those not aware, BP met DD in issue #52 of Daredevil. By following DD, BP discovered his secret identity. BP was the very first super hero to do so. In DD #92, at Matt Murdock's request, wearing a mask and the original costume, BP impersonated DD to protect his secret identity. This idea of BP the man without fear, is an idea over 40 years in the making.Spidey rules
