Yes I totally agree. Paid new comics + subscription for back issues is what would work. I haven't, and never will, pay for any content under the current pricing.

Marvel will continue to have the paid ipad app as long as people continue to use it!!!! Stop buying both and they will finally listen!!Put new comics on the app!! would pay for that and subscription based back issue app! Money talks as long as they are making it the won't listen!!!

Are you listening Marvel? I canceled my subscription due to this double billing practice and when I contacted you you blew me off. Sounds to me as if a number of loyal fans are saying the same thing. Is Marvels management staff able to understand it's time to shift gears and modify your marketing strategy? Your approach to a monthly or annual fee for unlimited usage puts you ahead in a market that many feel represents the real future of monthly comics (reading comics from an iPad style tablet). Or is Marvels management team content with the continued creation of "former" Marvel fans?

It seems that everywhere the Marvel i-app is discussed, everyone is saying the same thing. Why charge people twice? Just give us an i-app subscription rate please, or tie it into the existing digital subscription. Marvel, are you listening to your customers? EVERYONE wants this! I mean come on, $2 for a digital back issue? Are you crazy?

I recognize the need for advertising. But when I log on to MDCU I would like to see the comics I've already paid for instead of the comics I can buy for another format. The new design seems to make the paying customer an afterthought.

I agree with gkidsforcomics. Paying for individual comics for ipad when you are already a subscriber does not make sense, and it's even insulting for current customers. Instead, Marvel Comics should keep the app free of charge, and sell ipad year subscriptions (with a discount to existing customers)... a membership upgrade, if you wish. Charging for each individual comic is not cool, it's rather greedy, and I don't even know if I will resubscribe. Nah!

No logic in charging for comics on ipad when everyone has paid for yearly free comics. You will lose customers.
