[quote@mike.mclennan @bds197485 But it is not about killing a character. It is not like they thought "This would be really great for the story and something the fans would not expect" or anything like that. This is about getting sales up, bottom line. I love most X titles but will not bother to pick this up. Waste of time. I am really sad that this is how comics continue to go. But what can you do? It's a business.[/quote] I do agree with you. I bought into Secret Invasion much and look what it produced. Revenue for the writers and artists. Back 20 to 30 years ago you could expect when Marvel promised a death, it did happen with much surprise to it. I do think that they try to satisfy fans by bringing certain persons back to life. I'm glad they brought Cyclops back. I'd be lost if they killed him off again forever. Sometimes there is satisfaction and then sometimes there is greed.

My money's on Nightcrawler, he's the only one who hasn't died at some point.

Buy the book or we kill this puppy! :nightcrawler: I can't believe I am the only one thinking those marketing antics are getting old already. Sooo nineties! Who's still bothering who's gonna die and get resurrected twelve months later honestly?

Probably Archangel or Warpath. I do wish that Marvel would put their heads together and plan these stories better. When they kill the character off, simply leave them dead and move on. I would.
