This was one of the reasons I purchased an iPad and am feeling a little let down. Marvel is going to end up causing the failure of this format if they continue to show little support for it. After being burned so many times, consumers are learning not to be early adopters until they see sufficient movement behind a product, platform, format, etc. If Marvel continues with this lack of support, they will be contributing to the demise of this cool concept.

I also agree that it's a good concept but Marvel is way off on the pricing and the minimal releases. Also need newer comics.

its a good concept but $2 a comic is a bit much. i mean it cost me 40 bucks for over 500 spider man digital comics that would cost me about 1000 on the ipad. a better idea would be to charge 2 dollars for the news releases that way you make some more money on the new stuff its 2 dollars cheaper but it will eliminate printing and distribution costs and you will make a bigger profit.. but then charge a set price for unlimited comics that are like five years old or older or have a set price for a story arc ex. 3 dollars for the Armour wars. the price can vary depending the length of the story arc. i read only about two titles a month sometimes less but id be willing to pay 10 dollars a month for an ipad subscription if it had features like that

Hmmmm. No new comics, too costly per issue, no subscription model, and no connection with the Digital Comics Unlimited subs. What was the point again? It sure is pretty, though.

Between the price, the obnoxious double dipping, and this anemic output of comics, I don't see much future for this. It seems like Marvel really isn't all that serious about digital comics. What a shame.

Wow, a whopping 15 new titles. Don't strain yourself. I love the idea of this service, but if you can't get it together enough to put out a decent amount of new material every month, people are going to stop caring really fast.
