Yes the overriding sentiment is clearly that the Digital Subscription not working on the iPad app is frustrating. I think the problem is that the program that runs the Digital Comics is somehow incompatible with the Comixology iPad app. So comics made for one don;t work on the other and woul dhave to be converted. Also I would bet that Marvel has an agreement with Comixology that they get paid by the comic sold on the app, which explains the $2. My guess is $0.75 to Comixology, $0.75 to Marvel, $0.50 to Apple. The subscription model was never intended for the iPad app. There's not enough profit in it for all the parties with their hand in the till. Just my opinion. My vote is for a new Marvel app that will read the Digital Comics with subscription. All of this would be moot if the iPad supported frigging Flash.

BrianG2k is absolutley right, I have been contimplating the subscribing to the digital comics, and if the iPod touch app would support the digital subscriptions I would definately subscribe. Also, rather than introducing new series to the app i would love to see some more New Avengers comics on the iPod app.

Looking at iTunes app store reviews for the Marvel App.. supporting Marvel digital comics subscriptions seems to be the most requested feature and mentioned in nearly every review. Are there any plans to have the app support digital subscriptions? I know I'd subscribe with no hesitation if it would.
