Every week we'll pick a handful of awesome comics from the thousands available through Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited. From creator spotlights to editor's picks and more, this'll be your spot to find something new and cool.

With "Iron Man 2" only a day away, we thought it'd be a good idea to show you just how much Tony has changed throughout his years in the Iron Man suit. He's grown as a man and as a hero, upgraded his armor a few times, but through everything he still stands as one of the strongest, most courageous heroes in the Marvel Universe.

TALES OF SUSPENSE #48
Mr. Doll, a maniacal mystic who uses his magic clay and dexterous fingers to control any person unlucky enough to challenge him, battles the Armored Avenger in the early days of Iron Man's career. The villain hoped to get rich quick by forcing the wealthiest men in America to fork over their millions in exchange for freedom from his omnipotent grip. When Iron Man attempted to stop him, his foe's voodoo proves too much for Shellhead and his clunky armor. So Tony hits the drawing board and wracks his brilliant brain for a way to defeat the evil magician. Will Tony's Iron Man upgrades be enough to stop Mr. Doll from making off with millions?

IRON MAN #120
While flying first class in his 747 and quietly contemplating his last few weeks, Tony Stark experiences some serious turbulence. Lucky for Tony, Iron Man's only a briefcase away and after a quick bathroom break Shellhead manages to slow the wounded metal bird's descent, saving the passengers in the process. After the daring rescue, Iron Man becomes embroiled in a military conspiracy involving an uncharted island, radioactive waste, and Namor the Sub-Mariner! And just when Tony realizes he might be in over his head, Justin Hammer resurfaces to make sure his rival ends up sleeping with the fish!

IRON MAN #232
In the aftermath of the Armor Wars, something's hunting Tony Stark. An infernal mechanical demon wearing the guise of Iron Man seeks to tear the Armored Avenger limb-from-limb. Exhausted, Tony can barely lift his arms to use repulsors on the creature, and weapons only seem to make it stronger. Starkstands alone against his worst nightmare: a creature just as intelligent and determined as he is - himself!

IRON MAN #1 (1996)
To rid the world of Onslaught, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes threw themselves into the chaotic core of the villain, destroying the evil entity entirely at the cost of their lives. However, instead of perishing within the void, the heroes were reborn into a new universe thanks to the powers of young Franklin Richards. Like the others, Tony Stark, Iron Man, finds himself in an entirely different universe with no memory of his past life. But the more things change, the more they stay the same, and the brilliant inventor soon comes face-to-face with the heads and hands of Hydra as well as the Incredible Hulk!

IRON MAN #6 (2006)
The conclusion of “Extremis” happens here! Just when you thought Iron Man might be down for the count, Tony makes an all new upgrade that puts him back in the game. Now it’s just Iron Man vs Mallen, the hyper-powered hillbilly dosing on the Extremis formula, and neither will be pulling their punches. The city shakes and buildings crumble as the Golden Avenger takes it to the terrorist, and he’s not going home without a win, even if that means killing Mallen. his is one brawl you don’t want to miss!

Robert Downey Jr. reprises his role as billionaire industrialist Tony Stark, aka the super hero Iron Man in this sequel to the 2008 blockbuster. RDJ, Paltrow, Cheadle and Rockwell are joined by Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow and Mickey Rourke as Whiplash. Jon Favreau once again takes up the directorial reins for Marvel's armored avenger.

"Iron Man 2" is one of a continuing slate of films being produced by Marvel Studios based on the Marvel characters, including "Thor" on May 6, 2011, "The First Avenger: Captain America" on July 22, 2011 and "Marvel Studios' The Avengers" on May 4, 2012.
