Come on people you know he will be back before summer any way! just look how big a thing they made of the Captain America being killed(the last time:) then he was back before any one could miss him. You dont mind them bring people back years later(like the Cap the first time:)but now they bring them back way to soon! SDH UK

Killing off a character is just a way for bad writers to get cheap ratings. It's a shortcut to thinking. Johnny wasn't a bad character. There are no bad characters, only bad writers.

I was hoping it would have been Mister Fantastic who would have died.Maybe from one of his experiments going crazy and threatening to hurt a lt of people he would of sacrificed homself to stop it.

I'm glad it wasn't Sue. She's a MUCH more interesting character. Johnny has always been one-dimensional, not a bad character just kinda there. I seriously doubt they will replace him with another flame-based character.

With the return of the Original Human Torch and Toro, it didn't look good for Johnny Storm. It'll be interesting to see if the surviving FF members will cross paths with those torches at some point. On the positive side, death has it's rewards in comics. Look at what it did for Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes.

I don't get why people are so angry about the human torch dying. He was always the lamest member of the group, and a lame hero in general. the thing is the only good member anyway(reed has his moments).

I feel like Johnny was the easy way out. I think Sue dying woulda made some good stories. Reed with a solo arc dealing with his wife's death, Ben and Johnny on another. Can't wait til Johnny comes back as master of the negative zone or something like that, he's arguably the best character in the FF, go away Hickman

He went out with my utmost respect. Like a true hero. Can't wait until the inevitable Human Torch: Reignited!! If Franklin Richards doesn't have something to do with his return I'll be shocked. I bet it'll even be subtly mentioned in the FF's last issue.I miss when these polls were on the forums :(

I'll say this in the thread too. It was sort of a combination of the first, second, and fourth choices. It makes me sad the Johhny died; I wish he hadn't. However, he did go out like a hero. I would've prefered it if Sue died.
