It's Monday, and that means that you've had to find the strength to shake off the after effects of a weekend well spent just to get back into shape for the weekday work-athon. It's tough, sure, but it's a fact of life – one that isn't lost on super humans either. Yep, Mondays mean back to work for super heroes too, as they trade in their uniforms for something more business casual.

Coming up with a comprehensive resume has got to be tough when you've been the recipient of multiple brain washings. That's probably why Natasha Romanoff tends to stick to the espionage listings when it comes to picking her 9 to 5. Plus, she definitely has the skillset and disposition for that harsh line of work; Nat would not be happy stationed behind a desk for 40 hours a week.

The deadly Black Widow worked as an assassin for the KGB when she first appeared, placing her firmly against the United States during the midst of the Cold War. She first went up against Iron Man while on a mission to kill a defected Soviet scientist named Anton Vanko. The defeat she suffered at Iron Man's repulsor-blasting hands caused her to hold a grudge against the armored Avenger. She would later recruit the criminal marksman called Hawkeye to help her take out Iron Man.

Repeated defeats, her weakening Soviet pride, and her strengthening feelings for the American archer named Hawkeye led to her defecting from the KGB. Not only did she defect, she inspired Hawkeye to do so as well and she enlisted with her old employer's number one competition – S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Romanoff worked directly for Nick Fury on a number of missions, further strengthening her allegiance to America's super heroes. She cemented her place as a do-gooder when she joined the Avengers in AVENGERS #111.

After years of fighting on the side of the angels, Natasha has decided to take big steps towards making up for the unspeakable crimes she committed while employed by the KGB. She now supports a web of survivors whose lives had been wrecked by the Widow. To fund her work, she takes on dangerous solo missions that pay well and usually force her to confront her dark side. All in a day's work!

Check out Natasha's next adventure in BLACK WIDOW #8, on sale this Wednesday!
