Marvel Entertainment, LLC and Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. announced their plan for a new global partnership in June during the “Samsung GALAXY: Tab into Color” premiere event in New York. The partnership, which officially began with the launch of Samsung’s newest tablet, the GALAXY Tab S, aims to bring exclusive content to the overlapping market of Samsung’s wide user-base and the wide fan-base of Marvel’s entertainment properties.
With the latest technology and an array of special features, the GALAXY Tab S provides an experience like no other for Marvel fans when it comes to reading your favorite comics or watching the latest film from the Marvel Cinematic Universe! The Super AMOLED display provides for a wider palette of color coverage and contrast ratio that will have Iron Man and his teammates coming to life on the screen.
Planned collaborative efforts of the partnership include custom, Marvel-branded Samsung products, integration with Marvel’s upcoming feature films, as well as three-month’s subscription to Marvel Unlimited, providing access to Marvel’s extensive library of digital comics on new purchases.
