Ultimate Spider-Man Crossover

Comics to Video Games to Comics

Beginning in Ultimate Spider-Man #86, a storyline will spin directly out of the events of the new Ultimate Spider-Man video game. In Ultimate Spider-Man #86, Spider-Man will deal with the ramifications from the Ultimate Spider-Man video game and story arc will feature a character introduced in the video game.

With an original storyline and dialogue penned by Brian Michael Bendis, the writer of the Ultimate Spider-Man comic book series, and character illustrations by Mark Bagley, the illustrator for Ultimate Spider-Man, this is undoubtedly the most authentic comic book experience ever. Utilizing 3D comic inking technology and moving panels to tell the story, Ultimate Spider-Man creates a gameplay experience that truly brings the comic to life. As quoted by IGN.com, this really is, "A living comic book' experience second to none."

For the first time ever, a video game will be a part of comic continuity. The next storyline of Ultimate Spider-Man, entitled "Silver Sable" will take place directly after the events of the video game and Spider-Man will have to deal with the fallout of events featured in Ultimate Spider-Man the video game.

Ultimate Spider-Man the game picks up where the famed comic book series of the same name left off. Continuing the storyline of Venom, you'll replay the battle between Venom and Peter Parker and find out what happened after Venom supposedly disappeared. As an added bonus for comic book fans, playing through the game will reveal the mystery of what happened to Peter Parker's and Eddie Brock's parents. Plus, there are tons of cameo appearances from major characters in the Ultimate universe. Don't be surprised if Johnny Storm challenges you to a race, Wolverine challenges you to a fight, and Nick Fury challenges you to meet your destiny. Also, the first ever Ultimate appearances of Beetle and Silver Sable are in Ultimate Spider-Man the game!
