Mr. Yonge, an artist by trade, was ecstatic to participate and win. "I've been drawing Marvel characters since I was three years old and to get this recognition is really exciting. When I saw the ad for this contest, I just had to enter. My favorite things to draw are people, dark shadows, and textures, so this story was right up my alley! I want to say a big 'thank you' to the ones who voted for me. There was also some really good work among the other finalists, and I could tell they had as much fun as I did. I hope we see more contests like this in the future!" You can receive the comic made from Mr. Yonge's work at the upcoming San Diego Comic Con or take a look at his submission along with the other finalists' work at http://www.marvel.com/bladecontest.
