Who else is better to kick off Marvel's 70th Anniversary jams in April than our nation's very own Captain America? Before tackling Nazism, Captain America was Steve Rogers, a run-of-the-mill Brooklyn youth. Discover his roots in CAPTAIN AMERICA COMICS #1 70TH ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL. In addition to the Cap anniversary issue, we're rolling out more 70th Anniversary books including MARVEL 70TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION, SUB-MARINER COMICS #1 70TH ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL and a 70th Anniversary variant to X-MEN: LEGACY #223!


Stuart Moore and C.P. Smith reunite for WOLVERINE NOIR #1, their first collaboration together since their previous work with the Ol' Canucklehead. Meet Jim Logan (Gee, who could that be?), the proprietor of a detective agency in 1937 New York, as he is forced to examine his difficult past after an encounter with Mariko Yashida. Springtime seems to be the season for Marvel's Canadian savage. With the upcoming release of "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" (in theaters May 1) and the first season of "Wolverine and the X-Men" on Nicktoons Network now, April also brings us WOLVERINE #72, WOLVERINE: WEAPON X #1, WOLVERINE: WEAPON X FILES, WOLVERINE: THE ANNIVERSARY, RAMPAGING WOLVERINE #1, WOLVERINE: FIRST CLASS #14, X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE #1 and a slew of collections!


The Eisner award-winning team of Brian Michael Bendis and Alex Maleev (DAREDEVIL) join forces once again on SPIDER-WOMAN #1, as Jessica Drew aka Spider-Woman navigates an unfamiliar world while looking back on her fractured past. She's mean, she's green and she steps over any man in her path. She-Hulk doesn't make for a good date, but a rather good read! SAVAGE SHE-HULK #1 kicks off the four-issue series, in which fans try to piece her together and find out who (or what) the woman behind the rage really is.


It has been a long 15 years, but the Skrull Kill Krew returns and so does their thirst for blood! Give a man a few automatics and see what hell he can unleash in SKRULL KILL CREW #1, the first issue of a new series from novelist and television scribe Adam Felber (HBO's "Real Time; Schrodinger's Cat") and artist Paulo Siqueira (MS. MARVEL, AMAZING SPIDER-MAN). April ushers in several new series sure to reaffirm the faith of any True Believer.
