[quote@supercourreges Guys and gals, HELLLLLLLOOOOOOOOO it's not Harry, it's Flash! Do you not read the books???????? Flash is a former soldier in Iraq, and big spidey fan
Somehow I doubt that. Why would Flash go under Normans wing?PLus its American SON. You ever notice how political figures breakout the family to boost their own image? Well maybe a super son is what Normans going for. And why are people saying its Spidey? I'm pretty surehe would never work for his most hated rival. Its Harry. And yeah the coustume sucks too... :???:

He is an odd looking fellow(is it Harry?) He kinda looks as if he's contemplating mounting Mr.Parker..I don't trust this "American Son" one iota! Give em hell Spidey, and watch your back!

If its Harry, that would make a lot of sense.I can't see it being Flash though.I have got to start reading these. Usually I'm just an X-men/Spiderman fan. Haven't picked up an issue since Back in Black though...

[quote@ThorneDragon No Matter how you open this Can...The Costume Design SUCKS Goblin Goo!Maybe Marvel should start recruiting Grade School Kidsto Design New Costumes -At least then they'd be a little more Imaginative... :dead:
It's a given that Iron Patriot's looks are tacky and unimaginative, but IMO it's just a way to make it obvious for us that Norman wears that armor to get into the nerves of the heroes of the MU.Same thing goes for American Son... and the Green Goblin palette used for the uniforms of the HAMMER staff.

Agreed with fireice78, supercourreges and others, I rather have Flash Thompson as the American Son rather than Harry.First of all, it would add a great deal of bad blood into the Osborne's family issues, pushing Harry into another meltdown and/or back into chasing the dragon.Second, Norman needs all the positive publicity he can get, and nothing screams more "mission accomplished" than making a superhero out of a handicapped medal of honor Iraq veteran. Third, Flash as the American Son would play both a vehicle to further push Spiderman's fame down the gutter and, inadvertently, to mess with Peter's emotional status. Finally, Harry watching little Normie wearing an American Son halloween costume? would be priceless, don't deny it!

Harry is to obvius a Choice american son is going to be either flash thompsion, super pro (cant remember his civilian name)or may be a reborn/clone of steve rogers(this is the lest likely but its fun to hope for). but im guessing that who ever it is will be an alli to spider-man/ parker.watch us all be surprised and it be MJ. just kidding

Just for the heck of it, I"m gonna throw this out there... American Son is Peter, BUT he's been brainwashed by Osborn. I might be getting the ultimate universe mixed up in my perception here but hasn't it always been that Norman would have preferred that Peter was his son instead of Harry? Plus, there's a solicit above the one showing off American Son where Spidey is at the foot of Iron Patriot with his costume all torn up. But yeah, just a thought. And on another very unrelated note... I liked it when Spidey had stingers, and I hope that soon he'll encounter a mystical threat, they'll pop out and he'll be all "what the Heck?" But hey, that's just me. I was really liking where he was going before BND. But as I said, that's not related to this thread so I don't know why I'm still rambling about it.

[quote@TheMattMan It's Marvel/DC Almalgaverse back from the dead. This is the Amalgam between Iron Man and Booster Gold.
Cute idea. Too bad its less likely than the writers undoing this lame "brand new day

That is obviously Harry, it wouldn't be the first time he stole his daddy's M.O. and we know he has the daddy and mental issues to do this

ASM, that book has sucked for a minute. Sucked the God-dam outta hoover! Now this? Wakattack wednesdays for anyone with that title on their list. Norman's more overexposed than montreal baseball. Waititout maybe, it won't be long till they take the Osbornes off the air again. I hopes.

Bucky Barnes maybe? Maybe this has something to do with that teaser from awhile back with Cap bowing in front of Norman in the Iron Patriot armor?

I wonder if American Son is gonna be for or against Iron Patriot. On one hand, it would be hard to stop a father and son team of Iron Man knockoffs. On the other hand, I'd be nice to have yet-another father-son beef in the MU... this time with FLYING SUITS and WEAPONS SYSTEMS!!! :venom:

[quote@johnnysword This is yet another reason why I'm glad I don't read ASM anymore.
No kidding. The "brand new day" nonsense was bad enough, now this? Its obviously harry osborne, and this is just going to be the latest green goblin generational madness. Im just waiting for a new writer to ret-con this whole thing away...

That's definitely Harry Osborn, no question. Especially with the Iron Patriot, his DAD, in the background. I like the Iron Patriot...it gives you more reason to dislike Norman, rubbin' dirt in Iron Man's face and holding himself on the same level as Steve Rogers.I'm lovin' Norman Osborn right now in the Marvel U! From trying to secretly kill his enemies with his new Thunderbolts to leading his own Avengers and the soon-to-be Xmen crossover, he has his hands in almost every book.:cap:

LuisMa

That might be Harry. Makes sense since Norman is always trying to make Harry follow in his footsteps. The other candidate would be Flash Thompson and the suit is the only way he can walk.Either way we'll find out soon enough.
