Posted: 2009-10-30 Updated: 2009-11-04 11:03:01 True Believers who dig all things Marvel and especially Marvel digital just got a huge heaping of awesome! No less than four, that’s right, four applications for Apple’s iPhone and iPod Touch (iVerse, PanelFly, ScrollMotion and ComiXology) now feature individual classic Marvel comics for sale individually! As Marvel continues its expansive, cutting edge march into the future, the choice for the digital consumer keeps expanding as well—with more app stores on the way! “Consumers in many locales have a choice of comic shops in which to buy their comics so we wanted to offer fans the same variety of digital storefronts to be able to purchase and consume Marvel comics,” explained Ira Rubenstein, Executive Vice President, Marvel Digital Media. “It’s all about giving the consumer the best experience possible and the widest possible choice.” And that experience and choice extends WAY beyond the iPhone. Marvel digital comics availability on the iPhone Apps system joins the recently announced venture offering individual classic Marvel comics for download on Sony’s PSP device and, of course, the pioneering Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited subscription service that launched nearly two years ago and features an ever-expanding selection of over 7,000 comics! “As technology grows, the ways fans can consume our comics must expand as well,” Rubenstein said. “We’re very cognizant of that and will continue to explore avenues to offer the widest variety of fun ways for fans to read Marvel comics. Stay tuned for announcements coming soon regarding not only more iPhones apps, but ways to enjoy Marvel digital comics on other devices!” Additionally, as Marvel pushes forward, the consumer experience on every platform will continually be reassessed and, if necessary, improved upon. “We just released version 3.0 of our patent pending Digital Comics Reader for the Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited subscription service,” Rubenstein said, “And we’re actively filling in storyline and comic series numbering gaps to better the experience.”
So whether you want to make yours Marvel on the iPhone, the Sony PSP or to subscribe to the largest collection of Marvel comics ever assembled online via Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited—the choice is yours!

Because I would like to start getting my Marvel Digital Comics on time.
Something Marvel doesn't seem to be putting a lot of effort into. I would like to see being able to use my existing membership with Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited on other devices such as the iPhone and PSP. Since I am already paying for the Marvel subscription...
