Japanese Spiderman, Episode 40
"Farewell to the Mystery of the Zero:" When the Iron Cross Army attempts to get their hands on the plans for a super secret engine from World War II it's up to Spiderman to stop them. There's no time for napping in this episode as Amazoness goes after the grandson of an old scientist. Plenty of web-slinging ensues as Spiderman battles hippies and henchmen in attempt to prevent the Iron Cross Army from unleashing their newest Machine Bem monster upon the world.

Spider-Man's mutation is now turning him into a monster. Luckily for Peter, Dr. Mariah Crawford has developed a possible cure for the disease. But before the cure could be implemented, Morbius steals a sample of Peter's blood. While experimenting on the sample, a vampire bat bites Morbius and causes a mutation that will change him forever.

D'Ken gets pulled into the M'Kraan Crystal, and becomes one with the universe inside it. Now with unlimited power, D'Ken has become and unstoppable force. Spider-Man (1994), Episode 18
Wolverine catches up with Spider-Man, who is hot on the trail of the missing Hank McCoy. Later Hobgoblin steals the mutant technology that Dr. Herbert Landon had prepared for the Kingpin. Spider-Man and Wolverine follow him and discover Beast's location as well as the plot to destroy all mutant-kind; the two team up and rescue Beast from becoming the first test subject of Landon's plot. But when Landon accidentally falls victim to his own experiment he is changed into a giant monster that feeds on electrical energy.
 
Tremble At The Might Of… M.O.D.O.K.!
A fractal mishap finally gives M.O.D.O.K. his big chance to overthrow Dr. Doom. But with Loki's manipulations driving his big head even bigger, M.O.D.O.K. becomes an omnipotent threat to other villains and the city itself. Even the Squad (with the Black Panther's help) can't outwit "Mo-Dork". But just maybe Iron Man can inspire Dr. Doom to get his mojo back and team-up against M.O.D.O.K..

Jean Grey, using the Phoenix's powers, transports all the X-Men to Lilandra's ship where the Empress has hidden the M'Kraan Crystal. While there, a group of super-powered beings named the Starjammers attack and steal the M'Kraan Crystal in order to use it to get close enough to D'Ken to assassinate him. But when the Starjammers set their plan into motion, D'Ken gains possession of the Crystal and unleashes its terrible power.

Spider-Man (1994), Episode 17
Spider-Man's progressing neogenic mutation is making him ill. He approaches Professor Charles Xavier to help him find a cure. In doing so he meets the X-Men but is disappointed to learn that Xavier does not 'cure' mutancy, and only teaches mutants how to control their abilities. But before Spider-Man leaves, Beast tells him about Dr. Herbert Landon who is working on a cure for mutants. Desperate for a cure, Peter Parker attends one of Landon's demonstrations only to find himself in a death match between himself, Wolverine and the Hobgoblin!

The brooding, heart-sick Scott Summers is so desperate to find the missing Jean Grey that when he spots Harpoon, an old enemy of the X-Men on the street, he goes berserk. Harpoon was an agent of the vile mutant geneticist known as Sinister—someone that Scott believes could be responsible for Jean's abduction. Now, based on nothing but his own suspicions, the out-of-control Cyclops forces his way up Sinister's ladder of command, one rung at a time. But the closer Cyclops gets to Sinister himself, the more danger he's in. Wolverine and the X-Men race to find him, but Cyclops is walking into a carefully laid trap. And it could already be too late.
