Every week we'll pick a handful of awesome comics from the thousands available through Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited. From creator spotlights to editor's picks and more, this'll be your spot to find something new and cool.
It's Hulk Month, and that means we're unleashing new Hulk content every day, including fresh Gamma-blasted Digital Highlights each week! For the inaugural Hulk Month Highlights, the focus lies on some of our favorite incarnations of the Hulk.
INCREDIBLE HULK #101
You all saw what happened when Hulk and his Warbound staged their invasion of Earth last summer in "World War Hulk"...stuff got smashed! But before displaying his trademark leadership and amped-up destructive capabilities on Earth, the newest iteration of Banner's Gamma-powered alter ego—the Green Scar—had some business to attend to on Sakaar. Uniting the planet's disparate factions, the Jade Giant began his transition from gladiator to emperor as he prepared to take down the Red King.
HULK: GRAY #3
This issue's packed with all of the things the childlike Gray Hulk holds dear—Rick Jones, Betty Brant, and…bunny rabbits? Exploring the Hulk's VERY early days, this story takes us down memory lane complete with director commentary from Bruce Banner himself. Along with Doc Samson, Banner explores the ever intriguing question of whether or not the simple minded gray power house belongs in Avengers Mansion or a maximum security prison!
INCREDIBLE HULK #390
Abandoning "Hulk Smash!" for "Let us reason together," the Professor combines Bruce Banner's intellect with the Hulk's strength to form a near unstoppable combination. Supplementing the Hulk's smash and grab tactics with some big ol' guns and a wit to match Spider-Man, Banner's latest transformation provides some much needed backup for the down-trodden soldiers of Pantheon. But can the big guy manage to save the day without getting his big pink bunny slippers dirty?
HULK SMASH #1
It's classic Hulk v. Army action as the Savage Hulk smashes his way through yet another hoard of tanks and jets. The longest lasting and most well-known Hulk incarnation, the Savage Hulk is just a simple minded power house who wants to be left alone. But as the army once again disturbs his solitude, the Hulk gets angry—and you wouldn't like him when he's angry. Get ready for bullets, bombs, and a whole lot of explosions as the latest platoon of eager young soldiers finds out the true meaning of "Hulk Smash!"
ULTIMATE MARVEL TEAM-UP #3
If you thought the Hulk was a force to be reckoned with before, wait until you get a load of him in the ULTIMATE UNIVERSE. He's stronger, angrier, and more incredible than ever, epitomizing everything that makes the Hulk great. But when he decides to crash New York City, Peter Parker is less than thrilled. With his bad luck kicked up to a whole new level, Pete dons the Spider-Man costume for his first encounter with the emerald powerhouse.
