TALES OF SUSPENSE #45
Witness the birth of Tony's supporting cast in this story from Stan Lee and Don Heck. When Tony forgets to charge the chest plate that keeps his heart beating, a burly stranger comes to his rescue: Happy Hogan! Tony rewards Happy by making him his chauffeur, in the process introducing the former boxer to his secretary, Pepper Potts. With the Order over, Pepper goes back to running Tony's life, and Rhodey calls in from Camp Hammond to provide a solid sounding board for Tony's thoughts. It's a good thing he's got friends, because Tony's about to face one of his greatest foes!
