 Perhaps the darkest day in the life of Franklin Richards leads to one of the Fantastic Four's greatest challenges.
The rivalry between Dr. Doom and Mr. Fantastic stretches back to their student days. In FANTASTIC FOUR: UNTHINKABLE Doom finally realizes that while he cannot best Reed Richards in any scientific field, there's one thing Big his rival has no ability to understand: Magic. Doom acquires new mystical powers that rip through the Fantastic Four's defenses like a hot knife through butter, leaving the whole family in his grip.
FANTASTIC FOUR: UNTHINKABLE, by Mark Waid and Mike Wieringo exposes Marvel's First Family to their darkest hour. Doom captures the FF's children, banishing Franklin to Hell itself, places Reed in a magical prison, and tortures the rest of the team. Not content to merely defeat Mr. Fantastic, Dr. Doom puts the family's salvation within Reed's grasp, if he can learn enough magic to defeat Doom. An astral appearance by Dr. Strange gives Strecho the teacher he needs to learn magic, but can he suspend his reason enough to save his family?

X-Men (1992) - Season 2, Episode 22When Mystique forces Rogue to revisit her own past, Rogue's overpowering flashbacks cause her to relive the encounter with Ms. Marvel and drive her from the X-Men. X-Men (1992) - Season 2, Episode 21Cable comes to the present to stop Bishop and save his own future world. But after a one-sided fight against Bishop and the X-Men, Cable realizes that they might be too powerful to handle on his own. Looking for an alternative, Cable looks into the X-Men's history and discovers that Logan's healing factor may be the key to saving the future. |
