You'll be able to find out for free on Saturday, May 2, when Marvel releases THE AVENGERS for Free Comic Book Day, from the superstar team of writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Jim Cheung (the same team behind the hit NEW AVENGERS: ILLUMINATI). In the tradition of Marvel's previous ground-breaking FCBD issues, this issue features an all-new story that ties into Marvel Universe continuity while also providing the perfect jumping on point for new fans. The conclusion of this story leads to terrifying consequences for the entire Marvel Universe—and it's all available in the totally free THE AVENGERS!

The "Wolverine" on the Dark Avengers is clearly Daken, but it's surprising to me that he would wear any verson of his father's costume. They might actually make him an interesting character.

While there, his cellmate escapes with the assistance of an Iron Cross Army machine bem. Spiderman digs deeper into the connection between the jailbreak and the army, only to find that they needed the convict for their plan to steal Cobalt X. Now Spiderman must make sure that Professor Monster can't get to the Cobalt X, or face the destruction of the city!
