Each week we highlight a classic storyline told in full inside Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited, the greatest collection of Marvel comics available online! This week we revisit DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN!
Frank Miller's classic storyline, DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN, throws Daredevil's life into turmoil when his greatest adversary learns his real name.
A secret identity gives a hero like Daredevil protection, not just for himself, but for his friends, family, and even the people he walks past on the street. The dual existence gets pretty lonely, but Matt Murdock has good friends like Foggy Nelson and Karen Page to confide in...until Karen betrays that trust.
In California pursuing a film career, Karen hits rock bottom and ends up selling Daredevil's real identity for another hit of heroin. The information passes from Karen's dealer through criminal channels until it reaches the hands of Wilson Fisk. The Kingpin of crime has a vendetta against Daredevil, but if he can't settle things with the Man Without Fear, he can get to him through Matt Murdock.
Over many months the Kingpin slowly tears apart Matt's life, killing anyone that gets in his way. Homeless, barely sane, and beaten to within an inch of his life by the Kingpin Matt Murdock must pull himself together to survive and save the others caught in the Kingpin's wave of destruction.
Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli craft a gripping, suspenseful story that takes Daredevil down to nothing, and then gives him new life in DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN, available on Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited.
