As winter winds down, the Dark Reign continues to plague our heroes while intergalactic conflict begins in War of Kings—or in other words, get ready for another breathtaking month at the House of Ideas, faithful Marvelite! For a full list of all the books coming out that month head over to the March catalog!

DARK REIGN:
FANTASTIC
FOUR #1

Norman Osborn's new world order continues to rock the Marvel Universe, with two fresh limited series featuring some of your favorite heroes dealing with the new regime, beginning with DARK REIGN: ELEKTRA #1 and DARK REIGN: FANTASTIC FOUR #1! Plus, spinning out of the events of Secret Invasion, Hawkeye and Mockingbird find themselves together once again…but has the spark died out between these two lovers? Find out in the pages of NEW AVENGERS: THE REUNION #1!

But the Dark Reign's influence doesn't stop there, True Believers! DARK AVENGERS #3 brings the mysterious team to Latveria and a confrontation with Morgana Le Fey, MIGHTY AVENGERS #23 hurtles Dan Slott's premier story-arc to its tumultuous conclusion and the Greek demigod finds himself in Norman's brave new world with INCREDIBLE HERCULES #126!

WAR OF
KINGS #1

The battle lines have been drawn, and WAR OF KINGS #1 kicks off the next big cosmic epic from ANNIHILATION: CONQUEST writers Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning and artist Paul Pelletier! What's brought the Inhumans and the Shi'ar to blows? And when you've got two powerhouse alien races going at it in a full scale war, can the universe survive? Get in on the ground floor of what's sure to be one of 2009's most talked about sagas—trust us, you won't want to miss a single space faring, action-packed minute!

The war may be just starting, but its effects are already felt throughout the Marvel cosmos! X-MEN: KINGBREAKER #4 brings the Starjammers' assault on the mad Shi'ar Emperor Vulcan to its heart-pounding conclusion, while a '90s fan-favorite takes a side in WAR OF KINGS: DARKHAWK #2! Plus, Richard Rider finds himself powerless as the battle begins in NOVA #23. What will he do to stop the Worldmind from carrying out its ultimate plan? And when it's all said and done, will Richard still be Nova?

ULTIMATE
WOLVERINE
VS. HULK #3

The wait's over, Marvelites! ULTIMATE WOLVERINE VS. HULK #3 continues the slugfest to end all slugfests from "Lost" co-creator Damon Lindelof and artist Leinil Yu, fresh off 2008's hit SECRET INVASION! The Hulk's already ripped Wolverine in half—literally—but that ain't nothing compared to everything else that's coming your way as the long-awaited limited series begins its second act!

What's that? You say you want even more Earth-shaking Ultimate goodness? Well, how about ULTIMATUM #4, the penultimate chapter in the story that will forever change the landscape of the Ultimate Universe? Plus, is that a cat fight we spot breaking out between Kitty Pryde and Mary Jane in the pages of ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN #132? They were getting along so well before Magneto came and decided to end the world as we know it…

X-FORCE/CABLE:
MESSIAH WAR
PROLOGUE #1

The next stage in mutantkind's fight for survival begins here with X-FORCE/CABLE: MESSIAH WAR PROLOGUE #1, the prelude to an epic six-part crossover event beginning in April by writers Craig Kyle and Chris Yost with art by 2009 Young Gun Mike Choi! When Cyclops sends X-Force to find Cable in the timestream and bring him back in, they have no idea what troubles they have in store. Old friends reunite and alliances are pushed to the breaking point in this special, not to be missed one-shot!

Marvel's Merry Mutants must wage a battle on multiple fronts in UNCANNY X-MEN #507 as anti-mutant hysteria grips the nation and Colossus fights a mysterious menace from his homeland, Russia, all while the Sisterhood of Evil prepares to make their move! Speaking of Colossus, his ragtag team makes their final, desperate move to rescue his sister Illyana in X-INFERNUS #4, bringing the sequel to the '80s X-over to its hellbent conclusion.

THUNDERBOLTS
#130

Deadpool has it out for Norman Osborn, but unfortunately for the Merc-with-a-Mouth, he's finally managed to tick Normie off one time too many. DEADPOOL #8 and THUNDERBOLTS #130 begin a four-part crossover between both titles, as Osborn sends his own personal brigade of ruthless mercenaries against Deadpool, one of the deadliest and most insane mercs in the Marvel U. Trust us, before all's said and done, somebody's bound to at least lose an eye—if not an important limb or two!

Looking for something large and heavy enough to stun that late-night burglar with? How about a few wicked awesome new omnibuses? "Ultimates by Mark Millar & Bryan Hitch" collects the entirety of ULTIMATES and ULTIMATES 2, while "Daredevil by Ed Brubaker & Michael Lark" brings the first two years of the team's run under one cover and "Immortal Iron Fist by Matt Fraction & Ed Brubaker" hits you like a round-house kick from Danny Rand himself!
