The drums of war have begun! This week saw the release of SECRET INVASION: WAR OF KINGS, the one-shot by writers Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning with art by Paul Pelletier and Bong Dazo that will lead the Inhumans, Vulcan, Nova, the Guardians of the Galaxy and many more of Marvel's outer space stalwarts into combat beginning in March!
Before War of Kings fires its first official shot, get caught up with some key players with Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited! FANTASTIC FOUR (1961) #62
Though he will make an explosive impact on War of Kings, long before he found his crown and became King Blastaar, the "Living Bomb-Burst" made his auspicious debut battling Marvel's first family in this classic FF tale from Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Trailing Reed Richards and the Inhumans' Triton back to Earth from the Negative Zone, Blastaar attacks New York City intending to succeed where his hated rival Annihilus had failed and conquer Earth!
INHUMANS (2000) #1
During Secret Invasion, the Kree and Inhumans formed an uneasy alliance, but where will that pairing lead both races during the War of Kings? In this 2000 limited series written by Carlos Pacheco and Rafael Marin and featuring the gorgeous art o Jose Ladronn, learn the full extent of the role the Kree played in the Inhumans' creation and witness Ronan's ruthlessness as he attempts to kickstart an interstellar uprising!
