Do the clothes really make the man?

Denizens of the Marvel Universe better hope so with Bullseye donning the familiar purple togs of Hawkeye and being unleashed upon the public in the pages of DARK AVENGERS. On April 1, writer Andy Diggle and artist Tom Raney begin to investigate the validity of that hope in DARK REIGN: HAWKEYE #1. At the heart of the limited series, the inherent conflict in letting Bullseye off the leash while forcing him to be more under control than ever.

While the deadly marksman might not be thrilled with the need to rein himself in, he's not unaware of the possible benefits.

"Bullseye's 'relief valve' is exactly what DARK REIGN: HAWKEYE examines," Rosemann pledges, also promising "Razor-sharp plot twists, wicked dialogue, killer art and buckets of Dark Reign nastiness."

Of course, many fans will be peaking in on the series to see if either of the other two heroes with claim on the name Hawkeye, Clint Barton and Kate Bishop, will be locking

horns with the usurper Bullseye. Rosemann thinks that there might be more complicated questions to be interested in.

"The bigger question is: what are Hawkeye and Bullseye doing face-to-face on the cover of issue #2? Isn't Bullseye in the Hawkeye costume?"

Begin to get the answers in DARK REIGN: HAWKEYE #1, available April 1. In the mean time, check out more Bullseye on Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited!
