Disney XD will premiere the animated series
THE SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN on Monday, June 22 at 7 PM ET/PT with two back-to-back episodes from its new second season. Based on Marvel Entertainment's popular Super Hero and produced by Culver Entertainment, a Sony Pictures Television Company, and Marvel Animation, a preeminent leader in animated shows for television and direct-to-video films, the adventures of young Peter Parker will air in its regular timeslot beginning on Monday, June 29 at 7:30 PM.
Based on Marvel's legendary Super Hero,
THE SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN journeys back to the web-slinger's junior year in high school, when a not-so-typical 16-year-old named Peter Parker struggles to conceal his secret identity, endure the pressures of teenage life and combat never before seen Super Villains.
In Season Two of
THE SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN, things aren't getting any easier for Peter Parker. While he struggles to sort out his feelings for
Gwen Stacy, Liz Allan,
Mary Jane Watson and the
Black Cat, the challenges for

Greg Weisman and Victor Cook serve as supervising producers on the series. Stan Lee, Craig Kyle and Eric Rollman are executive producers. The series is produced by Culver Entertainment, a Sony Pictures Television Company in association with Marvel Entertainment. It will be joining "Batman: The Animated Series," "Superman: The Animated Series" and "
Iron Man" on the Disney XD schedule.
