Adding to the already exciting atmosphere that always surrounds Comic-Con is the announcement that the Marvel/Lionsgate Doctor Strange animated movie will be making its world premiere at Comic-Con International on Friday, July 27 at 7:15 p.m. in Room 6CDEF.
The Marvel and Lionsgate film takes audiences on an action-packed thrill ride through the beginnings of the Sorcerer Supreme's magical career. Facing the dreaded being Dormammu and his evil lap dog (and one time ally of Doctor Strange) Mordo, can the good doctor protect the destruction of the magical world as well as our own? With one foot in each of these realms, Strange will need every trick in his arsenal of sorcery--and the help of the Ancient One--to get the job done.
And after fans get the much-anticipated first look at the movie--due on DVD and Blu-Ray on August 14--they will get a chance to sit in on a panel with the creative minds behind the film. Supervising director and producer Frank Paur and writer Greg Johnson will be on hand to answer questions along with Craig Kyle, Marvel's Senior Vice-President of creative development.
So before the Doctor Strange animated film hits stores, shuffle down to San Diego for the world premiere of the latest installment in an ever-growing collection of incredible Marvel films.
