The cast of "Thor" spoke with members of the press last Saturday at San Diego Comic-Con, and Marvel.com was on the scene to get you their thoughts on the 2011 blockbuster!
In attendance were director Kenneth Branagh, producer Kevin Feige and stars Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Natalie Portman (Jane Foster), Clark Gregg (Agent Phil Coulson) and Kat Dennings (Darcy).
On playing Thor, Hemsworth said that "part of his ongoing battle is taming the berserk warrior that is in him, and certainly that's a big part of this film. He's still got to be that warrior, he has to have those elements. That's what makes him Thor."
And a major facotr in that struggle will be Jane Foster, who will act as a type of bridge between Asgard and Earth, grounding Thor in the latter. "Her earthiness is part of, hopefully, what transforms him," remarks Portman. "There are definitely changes [to Jane Foster] from the comic books, but that is certainly one of the things that has stayed."

Directed by Kenneth Branagh, the epic adventure "Thor" spans the Marvel Universe from present day Earth to the realm of Asgard. At the center of the story is The Mighty Thor, a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth and forced to live among humans as punishment. Once here, Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.
The screenplay for "Thor" was penned by Mark Protosevich as well as Ashley Miller & Zack Stentz, and Don Payne. Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige will produce the film. Alan Fine, Stan Lee, David Maisel, and Marvel Studio’s Co-President, Louis D'Esposito, will executive produce.
In addition to "Thor," Marvel Studios is also scheduled to release a slate of films based on the Marvel characters including "Captain America: The First Avenger" on July 22, 2011 and "Marvel Studios' The Avengers" on May 4, 2012. See "Iron Man 2" in theaters now.
