Yea I don't think even Hugo Weaving can save this movie form eminent failure. Anymore Chris Evens and Im switching to DC.

Meh...I'm not sure about this one. I'm on the fence. I mean, sure, casting Hugo Weaving as Red Skull was brilliant, but I'm just really afraid that Chris Evans won't be able to deliver. They need to be re-making or re-booting (what's the difference?) Fantastic Four; Thing was WAY too small, and Doctor Doom was a pretty-boy punk.

@ Eddie_Brock. I think that now that Marvel has full control of their characters in the films they are producing under MARVEL Stu., they do not recognize the continuity of the film franchises that they do not have control of. This includes Sony's rights to Spider-Man, Fox's X-Men, Wolverine, and FF, which starred Chris Evans. These movies where created outside of the Marvel Studio's new Iron Man/Avengers movie continuity. So I suspect that any subsequent films produced by MARVEL Stu. will be in this same continuity/Universe. I am sure MARVEL wants Spidey, X-Men, and FF back now that they have the means to get their characters on the screen under their own tentpole.

I think that Chris Evans will do a good job but i think that David Boreanaz would have been a better option, also he hasnt already played a Marvel Hero as opposed to Chris and Ryan Reynolds who has played Deadpool and Hannibal King. I'm a huge Marvel fan but have these directors thought of using different actors? Even Ben Foster and Rebecca Romijn have stared in two Marvel films together, as the girl with a crush on Frank Castle and Mystique and Frank Castles flat-mate and Warren Worthington III

John Cena really, what are you 12? that movie would suck! I've been reading comics since the early 70's and one thing i've learned, is to accept change. We didn't cry when they started drawing comics better, and say "AWW i liked 'em better when they were old school drawings." And as far as him being the human torch and capt. Hollywood has forgotten that they is people outside their little circle.

There aren't many guys who can fit the role of of Steve Rogers completely. It's one of those situations where you can find a guy that looks like him, but can't act the role. I'm willing to give C.E. the benefit of the doubt. John Cena, is the only other guy that comes to mind that fits as far as looks. lOl

nicksteam123

I agree that he isn't fitting for the part. But more for the fact that he doesn't have the right look for Steve Rogers than anything else!

I'm disappointed this won't be out on the 4th of July. Tickets would sell like hotcakes! Do they still say 'hotcakes'?

marvel only sold the movie rights for the Fantastic Four and fox has the rights for Cap and the avengers so yah he can play both i have no issues with it

fearless11

knowadays you have to know what company owns what rights to what characters...marvel sold the writes to the fantastic four so they had nothing to do with that movie....
