Marvel's "Thor: The Dark World" now in theaters and IMAX 3D
"Come for the stings, stick around for the previous 100 minutes of people talking and fighting and whatnot, and you’ll be rewarded with a thrilling, and often surprisingly funny, reminder that, following Avengers Assemble and Iron Man 3, nobody is better than Marvel at this blockbuster business right now." - Empire Online

"...this Thor contains some of the most gorgeously rendered images in the Avengers films, from the grandeur of Thor's home in Asgard (a glittering starlit funeral over Asgardian waterfalls, somber and beautiful) to the bleak and storm-swept landscapes of Svartalfheim..." - NPR

"So Thor: The Dark World hits the ground running with fully realized, charismatic and confident portrayals of all the characters involved. It’s defined by Thor being an ultimate hero and Loki being a mischievous villain. That, coupled with plenty of Avengers-size action, laugh-out-loud humor and Marvel Cinematic Universe easter eggs help make Thor: The Dark World one of the best Marvel films to date." - /Film

"Thor: The Dark World successfully builds upon characters and story lines from the first Thor, as well as Avengers, while providing entertaining (and humorous) moments and exciting action set pieces along the way." -

"The film’s action - which comes much more often than previous Marvel movies - is wonderfully inventive, especially a finale action sequence that uses Portal-like physics to turn what could have been a boring slugfest into a continuously surprising mix of violence and comedy." -

"Hiddleston embraces the role with all four limbs. He gets both the funniest and most heartbreaking moments in "Thor: The Dark World.'" -

Marvel’s "Thor: The Dark World" continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself.  In the aftermath of Marvel’s "Thor" and "Marvel’s The Avengers," Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos...but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. To defeat an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor sets upon his most dangerous and personal journey yet, forced into an alliance with the treacherous Loki to save not only his people and those he loves…but our universe itself.
