Watch the Moments that Defined the Marvel Cinematic Universe

Celebrate the release of Marvel's 'Guardians of the Galaxy,' in theaters now, with a look back at Phase 1 & 2 from SDCC 2014!

Re-live your favorite moments from the Marvel Cinematic Universe of the past six years with this exclusive new video previoulsy only shown at San Diego Comic-Con 2014! Celebrating the release of Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy," in theaters now, this highlight reel brings perspective to the vast cosmic spread of the MCU!

It started in 2008 with "Iron Man," when Marvel Studios took a gamble on introducing the world to Robert Downey, Jr. as Tony Stark. Looking back, it's hard to see how that could be viewed as a risk, considering how big it paid off with fans and critics worldwide. The Marvel Cinematic Universe has spread far and wide, with heroes ranging from Asgardians and their sibling rivalries, to a "kid from Brooklyn," and now into galactic territories.

The MCU continues to expand into the cosmos with "Guardians of the Galaxy," which brings together a thief, an assassin, two thugs, and a maniac to save the universe from a madman bent on total destruction. Watch this clip to remind yourself of the MCU's humble beginnings and get a better feeling for how much further that universe will spread!

Get your tickets for "Guardians of the Galaxy," in theaters now, and follow @Guardians on Twitter and like Guardians of the Galaxy to keep up with your favorite intergalactic misfits and stick with Marvel.com for all things MCU!

Love this mash up of highlights from all the marvel films makes me want to watch them all agaIn... Seen guardians 4 times but my wife hasnt seen it yet maybe i can get her to go wbith me to see it lol!! I dont think i can wait tIll the bluray comes out to see it again, plus theIr are a Few i dont have hulk iron man 1 thor 1 need those on bluray

Just heard that a black actor is going to play the human torch in the next fantastic four.  I know that black and Hispanic actors raise all kinds of heck when a white actor plays a role that has been defined for either race.  In this case the Human torch is a Caucasian.

I hope that Marvel and the PC POLICE STATE they are setting up can explain to all the kids who are FF fans, how this happens.  How exactly does the brother of a white woman become black?  Did he fall into some strange universe and emerge as black?  Did his mom marry a white man then divorce and marry a black man?  How exactly does this happen?

Oh, I know it happens the same way as Captain America became black....

I have no plans on seeing this movie.  I want Marvel to stop playing RACE POLICE and until they do I will just stop paying them to mess up good story lines to be PC.

It might be the BEST MOVIE IN THE WORLD.  I MAY EVEN HAVE LOVED IT, but for god sakes if you want a black actor to play a character.... CREATE A NEW CHARACTER WE CAN ALL GET BEHIND!  Stop taking well known characters and messing with them to be PC... STOP STOP STOP!
