This week's "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." put an even more treacherous spin on the old saying, "the call's coming from inside the house." "End of the Beginning" may have started out with the good guys going up against Mike Peterson in his new Deathlok get-up, but it ended with our core S.H.I.E.L.D. team rocked to their very core by apparent betrayal. There's no safe place and anyone could be under the Clairvoyant's sway.

Between all of Deathlok's rocket launching and the Clairvoyant's mind games, you may have missed a few of this adventure's best quips. Here are a few choice quotes from the episode!

Simmons: "So you're saying we should obey the rules." Fitz: "Who are you and what have you done with Skye?" – FitzSimmons can't handle the sudden change in Skye's MO.

"In your hunt for Santa Claus? No. I'm taking a transport jet back to the Hub where I can coordinate with the field teams via satellite. Someone's going to have to pull your asses out of the fire when things go south." – Victoria Hand only follows her rules and likes insulting jolly old St. Nick by comparing him to the Clairvoyant.

Simmons: "Brilliant deduction, Dr. Watson." Fitz: "I always pictured you as Watson." – It comes as no surprise that these two are Sherlock Holmes fans.

"I'm Thomas Nash. Mr. Po gave me that other name, a bit dramatic for my taste." – The Clairvoyant revealed! Probably. Maybe? Either way, Thomas Nash isn't around to set the record straight.

"Now I understand why I couldn't see you after you died – because you yourself could not see. You were simply a broken man who did not know he was broken." – Creepy Guy Possibly Known As The Clairvoyant sure knew how to get under Agent Coulson's resurrected skin.

"It is the inevitable. A force beyond your comprehension is coming for you – you and Skye. She has something we want and she will die giving it to us. I have seen it."
              – It turns out whoever's behind the Clairvoyant's keyboard knew how to get under everybody's skin.

"The Clairvoyant doesn't have abilities, he has security clearance. He's an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D." – Coulson, proving that everyone else on the Bus is actually the Watson to his Sherlock Holmes

Don't miss "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." next Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC!

After the events in CA2:TWS, I'm half-expecting a "Red Wedding" episode next week that eliminates half the current cast.

Agreed.  It's been a rocky ride but the show continues to improve each episode.

I'm glad they ditched that whole Ward & May relationship, which was just awkward all the time.

I'd love to see Bill Paxton cross over to the big screen in a marvel movie.  That guy is a sci-fi/action legend, and he shows why when he steals every scene he is in in Agents

Great episode, guys and gals!  It's really nice to see someone in episodic television that knows a thing or two about CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT!!  Joss has always known it's importance and thankfully, you have let him and his crew do so with AoS.  The rest of the fan base will come around to this conclusion sooner or later.  Keep up the great work!
