As if you need proof that people can't get enough
Iron Man, look no further than the 2009
Scream Awards shown on Spike TV last night. "
Iron Man 2" won for the Most Anticipated Science Fiction Film—a full six months before the film's release!
Future Marvel films weren't the only movies getting attention. Check out all the props awarded to this past summer's "
X-Men Origins: Wolverine!"
Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds won the Best Super Hero award and Best Supporting Actor respectively for their work in "
X-Men Origins:
Wolverine."
But that wasn't all of the gold that Wolvie walked away with. Steve McNiven won for Best Comic Book Artist for his phenomenal work on the Mark Millar written "Wolverine: Old Man Logan."
Perhaps one of the most memorable moments of the night came when the Comic-Con Icon Award was bestowed upon the legendary Stan Lee—presented by none other than Tobey Maguire.
While many people are still buzzing about the fantastic year Wolverine had, don't forget about the next batch of Marvel movies set for release in the near future!
Don't miss "Iron Man 2" (May 7, 2010), "
Thor" (May 20, 2011), "The First Avenger: Captain America" (July 22, 2011) and "The
Avengers" (May 4, 2012).
