 Iron Man DVD & Blu-ray Rocket Into Records

- The "Iron Man" DVD was released September 30th in the USA and posted the strongest first-week sales tally of any new release this year, selling 7.2 million DVDs and more than 500,000 Blu-ray Discs.
- Day one "Iron Man" Blu-ray Disc sales alone amounted to 260,000 units – a single day record and in just one week, "Iron Man" has already become the best-selling Blu-ray Disc title all year.
- The "Iron Man" DVD was released on October 9th in Australia and has delivered the biggest Australian opening weekend sales of any DVD release this year, selling through a total of 77,000 units.
- "Iron Man" continued to smash sales records in Australia with its Blu-Ray release also cementing the biggest opening weekend of all time more than tripling the previous number one.
- "Iron Man" blasted onto the shelves in Brazil on September 19th and is already selling exceptionally well with the momentum expected to continue for weeks. With a theatrical box office of $14.1 Million IRON MAN has firmly established itself as a power brand in Brazil.
- The "Iron Man" DVD arrived in Mexico on September 30 and is already selling out. IRON MAN grossed $19.7 Million theatrically in Mexico and is poised to continue its success in the region.
- The "Iron Man" DVD continues to have the biggest international DVD marketing campaign year-to-date with significant support at all domestic and international retailers and over 40 worldwide promotional partners generating millions of additional impressions.
- With a worldwide box office of $574 Million, "Iron Man" continues to set international records with its DVD release and is the most successful DVD event of 2008.
- Following the "Iron Man" DVD release, an amazing new "Iron Man" animated series debuts in Spring 2009, all leading up to the "Iron Man 2" movie release in April 2010 to ensure the continued strength and longevity of the Iron Man brand.
