X-Men Origins: Wolverine opens to the tune of a blockbuster!

So sharpen your claws and dig in, True Believers—Marvel.com's the place to be! Wolverine slashed his way to the top of the box office with a Blob-sized take of $87 million this weekend!
With the biggest opening weekend this year, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" also scored the third biggest first-weekend-in-May opener ever and the second biggest three-day opener in the X-Men series.
Internationally, the film added another $73 million to its take for a worldwide tally of $160 million through Sunday.
Not too bad for the Canucklehead, eh, bub?
