This was one of the reasons I purchased an iPad and am feeling a little let down.  Marvel is going to end up causing the failure of this format if they continue to show little support for it.  After being burned so many times, consumers are learning not to be early adopters until they see sufficient movement behind a product, platform, format, etc.  If Marvel continues with this lack of ...

I also agree that it's a good concept but Marvel is way off on the pricing and the minimal releases.  Also need newer comics.

its a good concept but $2 a comic is a bit much. i mean it cost me 40 bucks for over 500 spider man digital comics that would cost me about 1000 on the ipad. a better idea would be to charge 2 dollars for the news releases that way you make some more money on the new stuff its 2 dollars cheaper but it will eliminate printing and distribution costs and you will make a bigger profit.. but then ...

Hmmmm.  No new comics, too costly per issue, no subscription model, and no connection with the Digital Comics Unlimited subs.  What was the point again?   It sure is pretty, though.
