In an attempt to cure the Thing of his craggy appearance, Reed concocts an experiment that just might do the trick! But when a mysterious power disruption occurs, the Four accidentally switch abilities. Before any of them have a chance to get a handle on their 'new' powers, the FF discover their old foe, Dr. Doom, was behind the energy disturbance. Now the Fantastic Four must to work together to use their unfamiliar powers to stop Dr. Doom's latest ploy to destroy the city.
