Every week we'll pick a handful of awesome comics from the thousands available through Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited. From creator spotlights to editor's picks and more, this'll be your spot to find something new and cool.

This week, because Deadpool becomes a sidekick in DEADPOOL #24, so we thought we'd spotlight some stellar sidekick-centric stories.  Watch as Toro learns to "flame on", Rick Jones hulks out, The Winter Soldier breaks out and much more.  You'll be glad you did.

HUMAN TORCH #2 (1940)
HUMAN TORCH #2 (1940)
The Human Torch, ultra-hot hero of WWII, gains an equally blazing sidekick when he spots a burning boy performing in the circus. You guessed it: the young lad just so happens to be Toro. The Torch takes the young pyrokinetic under his wing and schools him in the arts of spontaneous combustion. Unfortunately, just as Toro takes center stage in the circus spotlight, Samson, the recently fired strongman, tries to off the kid for good. Now it's up to The Human Torch and Toro to put an end to the muscle bound misfit's maniacal schemes!

INCREDIBLE HULK #332
INCREDIBLE HULK #332
Rick Jones has often found himself following The Hulk's trail of wanton destruction wherever it lead him, hoping to atone for his part in the monster's creation. But now the tables have turned, and instead of trailing Bruce Banner's inner demon, Rick needs to get a grip on his own! A gamma-infused nutrient bath has unleashed Jones' inner Hulk and the Hulkbusters hound him just like they did the original Green Goliath. If Rick ever hopes to exorcise the Hulk inside of him, he'll need to find The Gray Hulk and the Leader; a dubious duo to turn to for help, but what choice does the wayward teen have?

WINTER SOLDIER: WINTER KILLS #1
WINTER SOLDIER: WINTER KILLS #1
Snow falls lightly on the busy Manhattan streets, and James Buchanan Barnes pounds the snowflake padded pavement, haunted by the ghosts of Christmases passed. But crime never sleeps, not even on Christmas Eve, and Nick Fury interrupts the former Bucky's quiet reverie with a mission: stop the Young Avengers from shutting down a HYDRA cell. Inevitably it all goes pear-shaped, but The Winter Soldier finds himself leading some of Marvel's youngest heroes against overwhelming odds, a sidekick no longer.

MOON KNIGHT #12 (2006)
MOON KNIGHT #12 (2007)
Moon Knight's old sidekick, wants to die and he wants his former mentor to do the deed. Unfortunately, Midnight happens to be more machine than man and notoriously difficult to permanently dismantle, but Marc Spector doesn't have any other choice: his wayward ward has killed heaps of innocent civilians and Now Khonshu cries out for vengeance. Will MK finally grant Midnight the release he so strongly desires and kill his protege?

WOLVERINE: FIRST CLASS #1
WOLVERINE: FIRST CLASS #1
Wolverine and Kitty Pryde take on their very fist mission together and Logan couldn't be more annoyed. Professor Xavier saddles the feral mutant with a girl not even 16 for a task that could very well be their last and what does Kitty want to talk about during the flight? Code names. Wolverine didn't sign up for this, but when the small town they're investigating turns against them only Kitty can save Logan from his inner animal!
