when I went to the 1 in Dublin the comic was 5.50 euro and the art prints won't be there till next week

good for you guys, I would love to be a aprt on the Event near a comic book shop, unfortunately I'm from Latinamerica, Bolivia specifically,; but that doesn't mean I won't take part of this huge event of my favorite mutants team: the X-Men will rock the core of the entire Marvel Universe since Onslaught and Legacy!!!!Long live the X-Men!!! So i walk into my local comic shop this morning all ready to pick up x-men #1 and the variant covers only to discover that the variants have all benn bagged and tagged with a price gun jacking the prices up anywhere between $10 and $20, depending on the cover. Any one elses comic shop do this? I mean i can understand the value goes up but to jack the price up the same day they came out ...

So i walk into my local comic shop this morning all ready to pick up x-men #1 and the variant covers only to discover that the variants have all benn bagged and tagged with a price gun jacking the prices up anywhere between $10 and $20, depending on the cover. Any one elses comic shop do this? I mean i can understand the value goes up but to jack the price up the same day they came out, before anyone;s even had the chance to purchase the comics at the printed price?? I noticed the place i go do does this alot when it comes to variant covers. The also did it to the finch variant of x-force #28 that also was just released today. Was very dissapointed to see this so i just picked up the only cover that was at printed price.
