Thor gets the royal treatment!
We kicked off the "Thor" action with the first image of Thor. Then, last week, we gave you a peek at the first official photo of Odin, Thor and Loki all together. Now, with much fanfare, we present your first look at Odin’s throne, deep in the fabled halls of Asgard!

Gathered around Odin are (from left to right) Loki, Frigga, Odin, Thor, Hogun and Fandral. Lined up in front of the royal gathering are Odin’s elite warriors, the Einherjar. And perched atop the All-Father's throne, flanking the lord of Asgard, are his ravens Hugin and Munin.
With only three days to go until San Diego Comic-Con, stay tuned to Marvel.com for more from Marvel Studios, and remember to mark May 6, 2011 on your calendars as “Thor” storms into theaters!
Directed by Kenneth Branagh, the epic adventure "Thor" spans the Marvel Universe from present day Earth to the realm of Asgard. At the center of the story is The Mighty Thor, a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth and forced to live among humans as punishment. Once here, Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.
"Thor" is from a screenplay by Ashley Edward Miller & Zack Stentz and Don Payne and a story by J. Michael Straczynski and Mark Protosevich. Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige will produce the film. Alan Fine, Stan Lee, David Maisel, and Marvel Studio’s Co-President, Louis D'Esposito, will executive produce.
In addition to "Thor," Marvel Studios is also scheduled to release a slate of films based on the Marvel characters including "Captain America: The First Avenger" on July 22, 2011 and "Marvel Studios' The Avengers" on May 4, 2012. See "Iron Man 2" in theaters now.

that is going to be alsome no even better than that
This is the first time we'll have seen THOR 'the comic book Norse God' bless the silver screen. I don't envy the movie makers with such the difficult task. With a somewhat credible Director and what I hope is a good cast this has the makings of a good conversion from comic book to movie. Let's hope they don't ruin THOR he's one of my faves as a kid and I'd like to see him again.
I don't know guys. I am hopeful but it looks kinda elaborately staged and fake. Hope on screen it looks better. Thor should be a hell of a lot bigger huh?? Don't let the costumes look to theatrical or we lose another one.
