You know, JRJr's only "problem" if you will is drawing characters in flight, which always look fairly stiff to me. Personally, I think that's mostly because we don't really have any refernce physics for flight, and its open to interpretation what someone flying would look like. He tends to suspend them in space, hanging them on a point, rather than (As most artist do) placing them as if they were in a fluid, kept aloft by subtle muscle movements and boyancy. It's hard to argue the JRJr's interpretation isn't the more accurate, but because we are used to seeing it drawn the otherway, it is jarring to look at. Aside from that, I think his art is fine, it has it's own unique style, but so does every artist. Kirby's art or John Byrne's is just as uniform in it's character design, and we hardly think of either of them as bad. No, I think JRJr's critics just are jarred by something differnt and complain about it.

JRJr is a legendary artist who needs to hang up his pencil already! I've seen artists, a year into the trade, that draw a million times better than he does. Just because he's been around for as long as he has doesn't give him the right to continue drawing so badly and ruining a great title with a promising storyline. Bring on a newb and I'll love the Avengers title a hundred fold! As a compromise I wouldn't mind his art on covers, he does good work when he has more time to do a single piece. And I'll keep bashing until my point is moot! Bring on the Red!

This book would be killer if they had an artist drawing it. Let's have Ed draw the Avengers so it looks awesome instead of looking like a 3 year old drew it. Nice move putting Red Hulk on this team.. The only reason I'll be buying this in trade is because the team dynamic and writing are most likely going to be good.

I've been following his story since Hulk 1 and I got to say it's only going to get bigger.
