Jeremy Renner has hit the bullseye.

As part of last night's Marvel Studios presentation at San Diego Comic-Con, producer Kevin Feige introduced fans to the Avengers lineup, bringing Renner onstage to join his castmates.

The Academy Award-nominated actor who gained widespread critical acclaim for his starring role in "The Hurt Locker" will bring the fan-favorite character Hawkeye to the big screen in director Joss Whedon's "Marvel Studios' The Avengers," set to release May 4, 2012.

Joining Renner on the team will be Robert Downey, Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Evans (Captain America), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury) and Clark Gregg (Agent Coulson).

An expert marksman, Hawkeye first joined the team in AVENGERS #16 in 1965 and later went on to lead his own squad of Earth's Mightiest Heroes in the pages of WEST COAST AVENGERS. An integral part of the Avengers' lineup, Renner will fulfill many fans greatest wishes as he brings Hawkeye into the team dynamic of the 2012 blockbuster film.

I may be jumping the gun as we all expect there to be sequels to the Avengers, However I really want to see Vision, Black Panther, Wasp and Giant Man if not in the first film then the sequels. Can we have 2 Black super heroes in a movie for a change!!!
