IMO, the art is CRINGE-worthy. But even the writing is sloppy, rushed, cliched, and cheesy. Can't wait to get past this and into Slott/Ramos's BIG TIME.
I agree with everyone about the artwork. I can't draw a staight line with a ruler so I don't think I have right to complain or criticize anyone else's ability but this looks nothing like Peter/Spidey nor do the villians like anything like they should, not scary or menacing. What has been said about the art is true. However, what is needed on this book is a consistent tone. Three times a month is great. However, its impossible for one team to do. What has been said about the art is true. However, what is needed on this book is a consistent tone. Three times a month is great. However, its impossible for one team to do. To many artist and writers have been placed on this book at one time. Peter has been lost on the process. For example the gantlet story line. Good idea. Bad execution. When reading it I felt there was no sense of time. No connection between the stories of the individual villains. Peter was just going from one to the other without asking any questions of what was going on and trying to put it together. Look at Invincible Iron Man. Worlds Most Wanted took over a year to finish. They had a good story that was done by one team. Art is only part of the problem. The whole package needs to be fixed.

With Djurdjevic and Romita Sr. covers you expect good artwork inside, so disappointing.
I've stop buying this comic because of it's art. Let's face it, ... it's horrible and unacceptable for Marvels flagship title.
