Who's Who: Orphaned at an early age, James Buchanan Barnes was adopted by Camp Lehigh and nicknamed "Bucky." After learning Captain America's secret identity--Steve Rogers--Bucky became Cap's sidekick. The same accident that saw Steve frozen for decades resulted in Bucky being found by Soviet Russia, brainwashed, given a cybernetic arm and calling himself Winter Soilder. With the aid of the Cosmic Cube, Steve restored Bucky's memories. After Steve was shot during Civil War, Bucky took on the Captain America name and mission.
