Thor returned to Asgard to fend off an attack from his villainous brother Loki in today's Micro-Episode of "The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes!," but before he could burst forth in all his animated glory, the show's creators had to perfect his look. During his various stints amongst Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Thor helped the team through major events such as the Kree-Skrull War in AVENGERS #89-97, the Acts of Vengeance storyline which pitted the Avengers against Loki once again, and the epic "Kang Dynasty" in AVENGERS Vol. 3 #41-55.
Though Thor distanced himself from the team following the events of the super human Civil War, he fought alongside the Avengers once more when Norman Osborn declared war on Asgard in SIEGE. After the events of that series, Thor once again joined the group, where he currently fights to save the world on a regular basis in the pages of AVENGERS Vol. 4, issue #6 on sale October 27.
