The Hulk's rampage across the desert came to an end in today's Micro-Episode of "The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes!," but you can bet he'll be back for more action when the series premieres October 20 on Disney XD.

Before that, though, we've got a full gallery of black and white lineart as well as color art the animators used as guides to bring the Green Goliath to animated life, so sit back and enjoy the wonderful art while you read about the Hulk's past associations with the Avengers in another installment of Earth's Mightiest Histories!

More often than not, the Hulk has come to blows with the Avengers as opposed to fighting by their side. In fact, the team only formed to take him down after the villainous Loki manipulated the Hulk into battling Thor, Iron Man, Ant-Man and the Wasp. In AVENGERS Vol. 1 #2, the Hulk helped Earth's Mightiest Heroes defeat the Space Phantom. However, the Phantom disguised himself as the Hulk when he went after the team, exposing the group's distrust of the Jade Giant.

The Avengers next faced the Hulk in issue #3 of their first series, where Bruce Banner's monstrous alter-ego teamed up with Namor, the Sub-Mariner, who sought to serve a crushing defeat against the Avengers in order to advance his campaign against the surface world.

Since then, the Hulk has largely fought on his own, sometimes helping the Avengers and other Marvel heroes when a menace threatens the entire Earth. After Iron Man and the group known as the Illuminati shot Hulk into space, he found his way back for vengeance against those he saw as his foes, and came to blows with many of the Avengers in the pages of WORLD WAR HULK.

Throughout it all, though, the Hulk has always had the heart of a hero, and when push comes to shove he always sides with Earth's Mightiest Heroes against some of the biggest threats to face mankind.
