Yes, we all know and are happy that cap fought HYDRA in WWII (as I touched on in parenthesis below), but Nazis being the evil of which HYDRA was a part is important. The 'we' in question is the Allies you know the side the 'Invaders' were fighting FOR (well kinda in Namor's case). The Third Reich happened both in Marvel Universe and in the real world, trying to just ignore history is wrong ...

Scott Menville as Bucky? This episode is more like it! Always been an 'Invaders' fan. Love those golden age heroes! As a former Marvel RPGer, this is a plot that I would've used. At least we stuck to Marvel continuity and didn't re-write it for the sake of story telling. And Hydra was active during WW2 and Cap did fight them.

yes, I'm certain that's it, it is just that IMHO that can all be accommodated with out the History (both Marvel, and you know the real world) re-write.Kids who are old enough to see the G/Y7 violence of a show like this can be allowed to know that we weren't really fighting HYDRA in WWII (this wouldn't mean we couldn't have cap fighting them)

I think their using Hydra because it will allow more back ground story and plus this is going to be on the Disney channel.

Again why can't they acknowledge that it was the Nazis we were fighting. Also, PLEASE tell me Cap is going to lead the Avengers
